Witold Pedrycz is a professor in the Faculty of Engineering, specifically in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, at the University of Alberta.
Dr. Witold Pedrycz's primary research interests revolve around Computational Intelligence (CI), bioinformatics, and Granular Computing, which represents a recent advancement in the design and analysis of intelligent and human-centric systems. CI relies on the synergistic combination of leading information technologies, such as fuzzy sets, neural networks, and evolutionary computing.
Ts. Dr. Aslina Baharum is an Associate Professor at Sunway University with two decades of expertise in IT and User Experience (UX). A certified Professional Technologist and MBOT/MQA auditor, she has previously held roles in both industry and major Malaysian universities. She has published over 60 indexed papers and 20 book chapters in fields such as HCI, Interaction Design, and Multimedia. In addition to her research excellence—recognized by numerous innovation medals and teaching awards—she is a certified Entrepreneurial Educator and HRDF Professional Trainer, frequently delivering talks on Digital Marketing, AR/VR in STEM, and Design Thinking.
Dr M. Ahmadieh Khanesar is in the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham, UK. He has held research and teaching positions in the Denmark, Turkey, Iran and United Kingdom. His primary research focus has been on robotic, control, AI and machine learning. Mojtaba has contributed to several cutting-edge areas of experimental robotic, metrology, control and modeling in industry 4.0 environment. His current research interest the use of high-precision coordinate metrology systems for robot calibration, modeling and control using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques.
Dr. NAGARAJA G.S. is a Professor and Associate Dean in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at R.V. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, India. An IEEE Senior Member, he brings over 27 years of teaching experience and 18+ years of research expertise in Computer Networks and related domains. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and has supervised 8 PhD graduates and 5 ongoing research scholars under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). Dr. Nagaraja has published extensively, including 67 papers in international journals, 37 papers in international conferences, and 7 book chapters. He has successfully completed major research projects funded by UGC, NIAS-IISc Bangalore, and Central Silk Board.
Dr. Mahmoud Ahmad Al-Khasawneh is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Skyline University College, UAE, with a Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and over a decade of academic leadership. He has authored more than 70 SCI/EI-indexed publications since 2024, secured seven German patents in AI, IoT, blockchain, and big-data security, and led the development of accredited B.S. and M.S. programs in IT and AI while supervising Ph.D. and master’s students in deep learning, computer vision, and cybersecurity.
